remake of my previous wallpaper, landscape ([link]). I was kind of experimenting with colors. This time available in both 1920x1200 and 1600x1200 in the zip file. 1600x1200 also in the preview

I know some people have problems with dA and the png file format, when using Internet Explorer. So if when you try to right click and save the wall (shouldn't be a problem here, since it's zipped), it gives you a blank png, try do download it with an alternate browser such as Opera or Firefox.

Anyway, please :+fav: +fav it if you like it.
Later!

This is really nice. You no what would be a cool thing to try doing. If you made perhaps 3 more similar to this one and the other one.
Make them so that they would depict the other times of the day. You could then make it into an animated wallpaper that changes slowly throughout the day. :D
Basically having one fade in to the other and so forth.

You know, that's a great idea! :D
But it would work as a screensaver, actually.
I'll try to import the project to flash, and we'll see.
Thanks!

cool. a screensvaer would be good too. But it could be made into an animated wallpaper too. You just need to be using the right software such as Wall Master. [link] You can manually set up a change over time for each image. :D

Resource-wise, I don't know how effective an animated wallpaper would be, taking into account that, well, most of the time, the wallpaper is covered by windows of diferent programs and whatnot. A screensaver, however, would be kind of usable, don't you think? The flash of this idea is done (I had to do both a night and dawn versions of this wallpaper to look cool; I think I'll be posting them here as walls), now all I need to do is remember which program converted the flash (or exe) into a scr...

I'll take a look into that wallpaper, though.

well, saw the program, and it allows you only to change the wallpaper for another one at set intervals... no cool transition from one into the other, so I guess that what you meant on the first post was to have the wallpaper change, depending on what time of day was it?

That was only the first things I found. I'll take a more thorough look around if you like.
I was just trying to show you that there were programs out there to allow the concept to work.

I personally like it better than the "day version": this one is far more poetic and the sunset effect turned out pretty well (jejeje, you haven't tried shading clouds and using the reds and the oranges have you? Those are A. BITCH.)
